Alarm for Cobra 11: The Motorway Police Season 2 (1997)

Semir Gerkhan and André Fux are investigating a case of child trafficking that begins after a car accident and an abandoned baby. The Wassmer couple confess to wanting to buy a child after a miscarriage. Clues lead to the hospital, where head doctor Imboden reacts suspiciously. A midwife who might know more commits suicide in front of the police.

Diamond dealer Grünberg causes an accident in a traffic jam because a criminal is holding his family hostage. With police support, he hands over the ransom, but the criminal, Rüdiger Dubeck, escapes. Grünberg's son-in-law Tom turns out to be an accomplice. During a pursuit on the motorway, Tom loses control of his vehicle and falls off a bridge.

A "shotgun cruiser" shoots from moving cars on the highway. After an accident and a fatal shot at real estate agent Steininger, André and Semir investigate Corvette owners and find Unger and Mütz, who shot in a homemade Corvette, but deny Steininger's death. They claim that the fatal shots came from a mint-colored Golf, which reopens the investigation.

Entrepreneur Bernhard Fisch is attacked in three assassination attempts and dies in the third on the motorway. The investigation leads to Charly, his illegitimate son, who murdered Fisch out of hatred and jealousy because of an affair with Trixi Mehring. When an arrest attempt is made, Charly flees in an airplane. Semir pursues him on foot and daringly clings to the wing.

A fatal accident on the highway leads to a planned assassination attempt on Jonathan Agave, Monrovia's presidential candidate. A traitor in the team changes the route. André and Semir find a bomb in an emergency call box just before Agave's convoy arrives. With time running out, they try to prevent the assassination at the last second.

After an accident, André and Semir find the strangled Andrea de Sand. Clues initially lead to truck driver Ulli Richter, but Andrea's diary reveals that her father Richard abused and murdered her. Richard pursues his fugitive daughter Stefanie. The situation escalates in a factory hall when Stefanie flees onto a glass roof, which collapses beneath her, while André and Semir try to save her.
