A wise woman is worth two
Candice returns from her honeymoon with Max, her new husband. Because yes, she said yes! But as soon as she puts her heel on the tarmac, Candice learns that Antoine has had an accident. She rushes to the hospital and finds her commissioner recovering from her injuries (head trauma, an arm or leg in a cast). All bark and no bite! But instead of comforting him, with a chaste kiss on the forehead or a little holiday souvenir, Candice, furious at not having been alerted to his accident, screams at him like rotten fish! Antoine plagued, he did not want her to interrupt his honeymoon and had given orders to that effect.
Hope springs eternal
Candice and her team are called to the Port de Quilles where the corpse of Sébastien Da Fonseca (38 years old) has just been discovered in the boat used for his training for the Jousts Sétoises. He was killed by a severe blow to the head. Sébastien is THE local star of jousting. Winner of the last three Grands Prix de la Saint-Louis, he received the title of " immortal ". A fisherman with his father, Sébastien is described by all as a solid, honest guy who can always be counted on.

A crime scene in the open sea... unheard of for Candice and her team, called by the maritime gendarmerie to go aboard a pleasure boat anchored offshore and where two bodies were discovered in the early morning. That of Fabrice Vidal, entrepreneur and owner of the boat, shot several times in the back, and that of Damien Costes, hospital doctor, hit by a bullet to the head, seriously wounded, unconscious but still alive. But seasickness obliges, it is without Candice that the team takes off...

A beautiful late summer sun floods the market place of Sète on this Sunday morning. Candice goes shopping to prepare a large blended family lunch. But on her way back to her car, she sees a fire engine and a crowd: a 50-year-old homeless man has been found dead. Would he have been a victim of dehydration or hunger? Candice soon realizes that he has in fact been poisoned. No one touches anything, she calls her colleagues. Candice makes the first observations alone: the man has long and dirty hair, a large beard. He is lying on a down and old cardboard, a half-empty bottle of wine at his side. On him, a driver's license in the name of Jean-François Lavigne and an address in Frontignan. While Val and Mehdi are in the neighborhood, Candice goes to the address indicated...
Discretion is the better part of valor
Aurélie Favreau, a beautiful brunette with an urban chic look, comes to the police station to file a complaint for rape. Following a visit to her doctor, she discovered that she is two months pregnant, even though she has not had sex for six months! Someone abused her without her knowledge, but she has no idea who... This is a very special investigation that Candice and her team will have to conduct to find and confuse the alleged perpetrator. Once is not customary, the victim is alive, and very much alive! According to Nathalie Delpech's initial findings, Olivier Montfort, single, childless, owner of a travel agency and owner of the house, was killed around midnight. The man died electrocuted after receiving several electric shocks from a Taser. However, the victim had one, reported from the United States. The weapon, usually stored in his office, disappeared. Candice and her team go to the shores of Lake Salagou where the body of François Portier was discovered on the filming location of a series - a little hard to find themselves between the real colleagues who secure the area and the actors in uniform. Someone hit the victim in the temple with a stone. The murder weapon was wiped and then left close to the body. Candice notices that Francois' car was equipped with a winter tire, and three summer tires. This means that François had used his spare tire to replace a first flat tire, then he got a second and fell back on what he had in reserve.
Great minds think alike
