Episode 1
In 2007, prominent scientists across the world are committing suicides. Wang Miao, a leading figure in nanotechnology research, is recruited by captain Shi Qiang to help infiltrate an organization called The Frontiers of Science.
Episode 2
During a game of billiards, Ding Yi explains to Wang Miao, the meaning of Yang Dong's suicide note. Later, he finds a series of mysterious numbers in all of the photographs he took.
Episode 3
Wang Miao starts seeing a series of numbers in his own vision, which he determines to be a countdown. He visits Shen Yufei of Frontiers of Science for answers.
Episode 4
Wang Miao suspends the experiment; Shen Yu Fei shares an ominous message.
Episode 5
Wang Miao arrives at the radio astronomy observation base station and is received by Sha Rui Shan.
Episode 6
Shi Qiang learns of Ye Wen Jie, the only other scientist that Shen Yu Fei contacted while Yang Dong was still alive.

Wang Miao accesses the Three-Body game and enters during the so-called “Chaotic Era.”
