Separation Anxiety

As summer approaches, tensions are on the rise in the Valley. Jax and Brittany continue picking up the pieces from their separation. Jesse and Michelle juggle co-parenting their daughter, Isabella, while starting new relationships. Janet and Jason are adjusting to life with newborn son Cameron and Danny and Nia are overwhelmed with “three under 3.” Kristen and Luke are ready to keep trying to conceive their first child and Jasmine’s girlfriend, Melissa, has moved to Los Angeles. The group kicks off the season at Brittany’s White Party, but unresolved drama lingers between Kristen, Janet and Zack.

Checking In

Jax’s life comes under tough scrutiny as he’s confronted about his recent behavior. He finally admits he’s at rock bottom and elects to seek professional help. Zack tries to find stability in his friendship with Brittany and with on again/off again boyfriend, Benji. Janet continues to struggle after fighting with Kristen. Jesse and Michelle get into another heated argument over shared custody of their daughter, Isabella.

The Billionaire and the Boys' Chat

Michelle and Jesse’s divorce takes an ugly turn when a rumor about Michelle begins to spread. Brittany tries to put the pieces of her life back together after Jax checks into a mental health facility. Luke reveals a major life milestone to Danny. Janet tries to bury the hatchet with Kristen by inviting her to her birthday party, but the rumor about Michelle threatens to derail the festivities.

The Circle of Strife

After the chaos of the past few weeks, Jesse and Kristen arrange a getaway to Santa Barbara hoping everyone can find peace and heal. Zack and Janet sit down for a heart-to-heart conversation. Jax, still struggling with his emotions, makes his presence felt in Santa Barbara. When they receive unexpected news, Kristen and Luke’s plans to start a family are thrown into disarray. Jesse spirals as Michelle continues to ignore him.

Grapes of Wrath

The group’s Santa Barbara retreat continues to unravel. Emotions escalate between Jesse and Michelle leading to an explosive argument. Danny rejoins the group, and his “catch-up” drinking leads to an uncomfortable situation for Janet. Nia is blindsided when Zack tells her that some of the group has been talking behind her back.

Behind Closed Pantry Doors

The Santa Barbara trip comes to a dramatic end as Nia fights back against Brittany, Jasmine and Janet. Back in L.A., Jesse seeks guidance as he hopes to rebound from his wine country fight with Michelle. Luke and Kristen move into a new home together as Luke secretly shops for an engagement ring. Brittany plans a girls’ dinner in the hopes of smoothing things over with Nia.

Ring Around the Rumor

Jason confronts Danny about his drinking as Danny looks to make amends with Jasmine and Melissa. Kristen attempts to defend the Bookos and in the process, a rumor about the Capernas emerges. Jax drops another bombshell on Brittany, which she reveals to the group at a shark-themed pool party.

The Biggest Snake in the Grass

Tensions boil between Jasmine, Janet and Jason during a beach outing. Zack starts to realize that his friendship with Brittany has shifted. The rumor Kristen started continues to wreak havoc in the friend group. Animosity flares when Brittany uncovers a shocking breach of privacy by Jax.

When One Door Forecloses

Kristen and Luke's housewarming takes a turn; Brittany prepares for Jax's return by meeting with a divorce attorney; Jasmine and Melissa try to mend things with Jason and Janet; Danny is accused of overindulging again.
