Contamination
While no one suspects it, a devastating epidemic is looming on the horizon; Anne-Marie Leclerc, the director of the Health Emergency Laboratory, has to juggle between food poisoning and a zealous minister.
The invisible threat
The disease continues to spread silently and attacks new prey, but, for the moment, Anne-Marie has other concerns; determined to have the support of the Minister, she undertakes to prove to him the efficiency of his laboratory.
Suspicion
Worried, Nelli alerts Anne-Marie that a mysterious illness is hitting those around her. Despite the skepticism of the hospital environment, Anne-Marie began an investigation into the deaths of the two homeless people. She ignores it, but time is running out.
The dead are silent
Anne-Marie must know if relatives of the victims are suffering from the mysterious disease. Hurry up. The laboratory team is doing everything to stop the chain of contamination and discover the nature of the virus.

While everything is being done to stop the chain of contagion, Chloe's condition worsens. Anne-Marie is unaware that a second focus of the epidemic is developing and is concentrating her energies on finding a medicine for patients whose life prognosis is at risk.
