A man named Galvan is devastated when his wife Claudia moves out and intends to divorce him. Noticing his situation, his neightbor gives him the number of "Los Simuladores" ("The Pretenders"), a group of people who solve people's problems with quite unorthodox methods.

A man is greatly indebted with a loan shark by the name of Laguzzi, who threatens to murder his family unless he pays him fully by the end of the month. Unable to come up with that amount of money, he turns The Pretenders to protect his family.

The Pretenders must help an elderly man named Jose, who his new boss wants to fire due to his old age.

The Pretenders are tasked with protecting Alice, a happily married suburban mom, who's being stalked by an ex-lover.

A teenage boy named Mathias is about to flunk high school after skipping most of his classes to take care of his terminally ill mother. His father contacts The Pretenders to help his boy with the upcmonig exams.
