An epidemic caused by a virus, "The red", from Belgium, has caused the death of all adults, only children are immune from it until puberty. Anna is a thirteen year old girl, after the death of her mother, she tries to protect her little brother Astor in every way
You Have To Make Ice Cream
Anna leaves as always in search of supplies. A band of wild children, the Blues, arrives at the farm and forces Astor to follow them to Angelica's mansion. When Anna comes home, she no longer finds her little brother, she goes in search of him
The Hyenas Laugh
Anna arrives at the gates of Angelica's mansion where she manages to enter. She becames the protagonist of the freak show of the terrible queen of the blue who holds the only surviving adult prisoner (the "Picciridduna")
The Invisible Boar
Anna, after the night of the party, wakes up in the queen's room. While everyone is asleep, he goes to look for his brother. Astor, however, has discovered that there are other children in the world, he wants to be with the blues. Anna suffers Angelica's punishment.
Cats Are Superior
Having set up a trap against Angelica together with Picciridduna, Anna sets off again. He reaches Peter, but Astor is not there
What To Do When Mom Dies
Anna, once back home, finds her brother. The family has reunited. The brothers decide to leave together for Italy, perhaps there someone has managed to find an antidote against "The Red".
