Lupin the 3rd PART 5 (2018)

Lupin decides to steal digital currency from Marco Polo on the dark web and enlists the aid of the developer of the security system of the bank: Amlita (Ami). She lives in the Twin Towers, one above ground and one below water, but is weak from living on a poor diet. With Ami's help, they successfully transfer a fortune into Lupin's account. However, almost immediately upon their return to their hideout, Zenigata and his men surround the place. They discover that Zenigata easily found them because a new online game, "Arrest Lupin III" has gone viral with people posting sightings of Lupin. A chase the follows, with Lupin becoming increasingly frustrated at the intense pursuit.

"Hunt down the greatest thief of our times, Lupin III!" The Marco Polo executives have set a trap in the form of the Lupin Game. This has people all over the world tracking down Lupin. At the airport, not only are the police looking for him, but regular people are too, leaving him with few options for escape. He tries to steal a plane, but Zenigata plans ahead... will Lupin be able to escape the Lupin Game?

Shinpei Mayama, the Rat Clan, Union Mama... the all-stars of assassination, from all over the world, suddenly come after Lupin. They're players in a new game started by the executives of Marco Polo: Happy Deathday. Ami uses her hacking to get Lupin out of trouble, but she's shot and injured in the process. With Jigen and Goemon also under assault, Lupin comes up with a plan to take out all the hired killers at once.

Fujiko smiles deviously as she points her gun at Lupin, when Zenigata arrives to save him and Ami. They get into the inspector's car which takes off, but it's soon attacked by soldiers who are trying to cash in the price on Lupin's head. Abandoning the car, they have to cross the desert on foot, a difficult task made harder by the presence of Zenigata!

Lupin is shot in the head by a drone fighter. With the death of its target, the Lupin Game is concluded. Time passes, and people forget about the game. Released from his duty of hunting Lupin, Ami now lives with Zenigata, when one day Goemon visits her. After receiving a message from him, she decides to confront the executives of Marco Polo.

This episode is an homage to the part 3 Lupin era. In order to save their family workshop from foreclosure, a young inventor suggests to his brainless older brother that Lupin may be the answer to their financial problem. They build a smart safe for the Greater Tokyo Bank which can only be opened by someone with no brainpower. Is Lupin up to the Challenge?

Gaston was once known as a master forger in the underworld. After putting Picasso's signature on a painting by his grandchild, it's bought by the millionaire Mr. B. Lupin is hired by Gaston to retrieve the painting, and manages to do so easily enough... except the painting has a strange resemblance to a real Picasso piece, forcing Lupin to examine the truth behind why he was hired.

Lupin visits Gaston's grave. There he meets the elderly Camille, who he goes out for a drink with when the pub's phone begins to ring. On the other end of the line is the supposedly dead Gaston. Lupin figures out that the voice actually belongs to Albert when the pub suddenly under assault by the Directorate-General for External Security. Camille helps Lupin escape... but what's the connection to recent events? Just who is Albert? A mystery unfolds over the black notebook.

Lupin is shot, and Albert has the notebook. But then he's shot too and loses the notebook to Jose. Lupin is set free by Jigen and Goemon, and manages to survive his injuries. He then explains his past with Albert, and how they know each other. While he does, Jose begins to take suspicious actions within France.

As Albert decides that "France is my prey," Lupin confronts him. After interrogating Guillaume, they learn the shocking truth about Jose's terrifying plot. Lupin heads to Jose's headquarters with Albert, his old thieving comrade. Jigen and Goemon fight off the heaviest opposition while Lupin and Albert head into the heart of enemy territory.

Lupin's gang is enjoying a peaceful New Years when he discovers a medal that brings back old memories, and starts reminiscing about past adventures. To steal the fortune of the Drug King Pablo, the gang heads to South America with Fujiko. As Fujiko distracts the target, Lupin picks off the remains of Pablo's guards while making his way through the jungle. He eventually makes it to Pablo's collection, but is surprised by what he finds.

In a rural town in France, full of cosplayers. Within the town celebrating a pop cultural event is Goemon. Next to inn he decides to watch at is Chloé's Bistro. Chloé is exactly the woman Goemon was looking for Lupin's current target. A woman who inherited a treasure from a Belgian Millionaire, and is being targeted for her life. Though she had no luck and struggled with the lack of her Bistro's success, Chloé was a beautiful lady. Goemon starts to think more about Chloé as a person...

The boarding school, Annecy School for Girls. Having enrolled there, Ami encounters a strange girl in the garden who aims her bow at a crow. The girl is Dolma, the princess of the Kingdom of Padar. Having no friends, Ami finds herself opening up to the odd Dolma. Meanwhile, Lupin sets his sights on the princess' necklace, "The Bloody Teardrop." Fujiko sneaks into the school as a teacher to get close to Dolma, as well. But then the school is suddenly taken over by a heavily armed group...

"Princess Dolma, please save Padar." With that request, Dolma is taken home. Lupin follows shortly, and Ami decides to accompany Fujiko to Padar in order to save Dolma. The country is split between the traditionalists led by the grandmaster and the reformists, led by the king. But when Lupin learns about a planned coup d'etat by the traditionalists, what will Lupin do?

Lupin is pierced by Dolma's arrow. Ami and Fujiko take Lupin and escape, hiding in a deserted building. The three of them decide to flee, with Lupin badly injured. Seeing Fujiko risk her life to save Lupin, Ami isn't sure what to think about her. Meanwhile, martial law is declared in Padar, with civil war on the brink of erupting.

Padar sinks into chaos because of the civil war, but things take a sudden turn when the Shake Hands company gets involved. A proclamation by the king is posted online, proving him to be alive. Meanwhile, Lupin has Ami disguised as Dolma in order to sneak into the coronation. The two of them are taking decisive action to rescue the princess. With a declaration of "Well, we've got a princess to steal," Lupin begins his counter-attack.

"I want you to find out who killed my husband." Three years ago, someone shot Count Maupassant to death. His widow, Isabelle, summons Lupin to her home, with her requesting he investigate her case. There are three suspects, and then... more murders. Along with the old castle being locked down. "I'm Jim Barnett. A detective, hired by the countess." Get a good look at the once time appearance of Detective Lupin!

Shortly after moving into the hideout in Riquewihr, Lupin wakes up to a broken bathroom. After bickering with Jigen for access to his bathroom, Fujiko appears, and she seems to know what's blocking the plumbing. As Lupin and the guys grow suspicious about Fujiko, Zenigata also shows up... it's about to be a busy day in the life of the Lupin gang.

A string of indiscriminate shootings has struck Northern Africa. They're actually a challenge to Lupin from the wealthy Zylberstein. Lupin heads to the valley where his foe awaits, amusing himself with a game of chess. Looking down upon him from both sides of the cliffs are two snipers... Lupin has Daisuke Jigen on his side, but one of the enemy shooters is Mirage, who knows all about Jigen. Who will win the sniping duel?

Lupin's gang visits the northern Angel, on the outskirts of Russia. What at first seems like a snowy, dull town turns out to be full of riches to the joy of the group of thieves. The gang sets their sights on a bank, but they find it's already been hit by a thief with a similar idea. And that thief turns out to be Zenigata! Lupin skeptically wonders "Why the heck is Zenigata acting like me?" while moving on to target a jewelry store, only to find Zenigata's already there!

"Peoplelog"--a social media service that uses AI to analyze the incredible amount of data on the internet, allowing you to learn all about a person. Enzo, the president of Shake Hands, introduces his ambitious new service to the public, and soon it becomes a disruptive force in the world. Lupin is in Vienna to rob an art museum but is spotted by Peoplelog. He tries to escape, but Peoplelog predicts his every attempt...

Fujiko has been captured. She's being held at Orig Island, the headquarters of Shake Hands. Lupin and the gang, including Ami, head there to find her. The hacker's attack sends Shake Hands into chaos, allowing the group to reach their destination. As the rescue plan unfolds, something Goemon sees in Peoplelog's data collection on Lupin shakes him.

"Papa! Save Lupin!" Ami is reunited with her long last father. But Enzo is already obsessed with using Peoplelog to save the world. Six months after their capture, Lupin and Goemon are being moved in an ICPO convoy, when a single classic car blocks traffic. The man who drove it leans back, smoking a cigarette...

Lupin III has vanished from the internet. Meanwhile, the man himself is updating Peoplelog with confidential information that begins to throw the world into chaos. The international community is forced into armed intervention in order to shut down Peoplelog and the Shake Hands company. As Orig Island turns into a battlefield, Lupin finally appears! What is his ultimate plan for dealing with Peoplelog?
