Beck Season 8 (2022)

After a period of rehabilitation, Martin Beck is back on duty. He and the rest of the group are thrown into a case where the body of a notorious Danish criminal has been found in the water at Liljeholmen. The dead man is a member of a notorious Danish drug network. Is the Beck group about to get caught in the middle of a gang war?

A murder in a wooded area and a man who died suddenly in a heart attack after being awakened in the middle of the night by a masked burglar. Can the events have any connection? The Beck group is facing another tough case where internal tensions and loyalties are being put to the test.

Alex Beijer will participate in a morning show on TV, but it develops into a nightmare when an unlikely hostage drama arises in the TV studio. Alex can use all her experiences from the years in the Middle East; at the same time as she needs the support of the rest of the group to find a solution to the situation.

The police find themselves under heavy media pressure after fatally shooting a 14-year-old boy. A demonstration against the violence gets out of hand, and the police have to take further blame.
